The 17th annual Haunted Village will be held the weekend of Oct. 16 and 17, rain or shine, from 6 to 10PM at the Holy Cross Campgrounds on Route 112 in Goshen, Mass. (directions below).
Participants will walk thru a path lit with over 500 carved pumpkins to each of the individually themed cabins decorated in a variety of scary Halloween themes.
There will be a preschool activity cabin staffed with volunteers to leave your little ones that may be too frightened by the main tour.
Admission is $3 per child and $5 per adult. Parking is free. Food and drink will be available for purchase the nights of the events.
All proceeds of this event to benefit Goshen Recreation Unlimited.

The Haunted Village takes place on the grounds of the Holy Cross Campgrounds on Route 112 in Goshen, Massachusetts.
From North/Rte I-91
Take Exit 26 in Greenfield and follow MA Rte. 2 west for 9.8 miles. Take exit on right to MA Rte. 112 south. Follow Rte. 112 south for 12.6 miles to Camp Holy Cross entrance on left.
From South/Rte. I-91
Take Exit 19 in Northampton and follow MA Rte. 9 west for 15 miles to Goshen. Turn right onto MA Rte. 112 north and continue for 1.0 miles. Camp Holy Cross entrance is on the right.
From East and West/Mass Pike (I-90)
Take I-90 Exit 4, follow signs to I-91 north. Continue on I-91 north for 14 miles. Take Exit 19 in Northampton and follow MA Rte. 9 west for 15 miles to Goshen. Turn right onto MA Rte. 112 north and continue for 1.0 miles. Camp Holy Cross entrance is on the right.
From West/Rte.9
Take Mass Route. 9 east to Goshen. Turn left onto MA Rte. 112 north and continue for 1.0 miles. Camp Holy Cross entrance is on the right.
Some 500 +/- pumpkins, donated by Williams Farm of Deerfield, will need to be turned into jack-o'-lanterns the on the night of
Wednesday, Oct. 14th in preparation for the big event.
Skilled and unskilled carvers are welcome to help when members of Goshen Recreation Unlimited Inc. and area police and fire departments prepare for Goshen's Haunted Village.
Work will begin at
6PM at the Holy Cross Campgrounds, and will continue until the job is done.
We are also looking for
donations of sheets, good usable paint for decorating, and Halloween props,
costumes,
tea light candles. These items may be dropped off at boxes
located at Goshen General Store, Spruce Corner Restaurant and
Chesterfield General Store.
